Hobby Design from Korea continues to impress with this release consisting of three frets teeming with purposeful detail.

The main fret features a slew of mechanical parts such as the disc brakes, wiper blades & arms and cooling fans for the radiators, not to mention the ‘boxer’ detail that sits on top of the engine manifold. One of jewels on this set is the top of the radiator support that sits at the front of the engine compartment and will add a nice touch of refinement to this area. The interior gets treated to a set of seat-belt clasps and retainers, trim for the instrument binnacle and pedals. It doesn’t end there, the pieces reserved for the interior accents actually have a satin finish on them. Trim parts include both manual/automatic options – though this option is not offered in Tamiya’s BRZ kit. The fret is rounded out with a pair of emblems with the Subaru logo detail.

The last of the interior trim pieces being the speaker grills, will be found on the second fret. As well the radiator faces and faux fender vents. On the third fret you’ll find a nice pair of three-dimensional license plates and the lower front grill, which is made up of multiple pieces.

This is a very comprehensive set and in my opinion, the only upgrade a modeler would need to open their wallets for and retailing at only $15, it’s great value – highly recommended!
